User manual for the AJA Corvid Ultra CORVID-U-R0
The user manual for the AJA Corvid Ultra CORVID-U-R0 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Post Production - Computer Hardware.
The Corvid Ultra from AJA is a high-performance I/O chassis designed for use with AJA's TruScale cards and TruZoom software for working with high-bandwidth applications such as 4K, high frame rate, and stereoscopic 3D. It is housed in a 2RU chassis and features a fast 8x PCIe Gen. II, built-in acceleration capabilities, and two expansion bays for additional inputs/outputs.
The Corvid Ultra provides four 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs and four 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs for working with multiple SD, HD, 2K, or 4K streams simultaneously. It also has an HDMI 1.4 output for sending signals to HD or 4K displays, and analog audio outputs for easily monitoring audio channels without the need for additional digital audio equipment.
Dual expansion bays extend the performance capabilities of the Corvid Ultra by allowing for additional I/O, or support for up to two TruScale cards. AJA's TruScale technology enables high-quality, arbitrary image scaling, and integrates with the TruZoom software and joystick for live scaling and recording.
Please note: TruScale cards and TruZoom software must be purchased separately for full functionality of your Corvid Ultra. A TruScale card is needed for scaling and converting video on capture or output, while the TruZoom software provides the necessary drivers to make it work.
