The DHT800 Digital Wireless Handheld Transmitter (BD1) from AKG is a handheld microphone transmitter which is interchangeable with one of three additionally purchased AKG mic heads: the D5 WL1 professional dynamic, the D7 WL1 reference dynamic, and the C5 WL1 professional condenser. The DHT800 reference digital wireless handheld transmitter, which is used with the DMS800 digital wireless microphone system, features a slim metal body for durability and easy handling. It offers flexibility with the choice of three microphone heads. Each of these mic head capsules is interchangeable on the DHT800 transmitter body, and their usage is dependent on the preference of the technician or artist. The DHT800 provides a very wide bandwidth of 150 MHz and a selectable radio output power of 10-50MW (depending on the frequency band).
