The Allen and Heath WZ4:USB Multi-Channel USB 2 Interface is designed to be installed into an Allen and Heath MixWizard 12:2, 16:2, or 14:4:2 mixer. The interface card mounts to the rear pod of the mixer and sends up to 16 channels of the converted audio data to the computer via the USB 2 connector. The card should be installed by a qualified technician.
The interface sends 16 channels to the computer and two return channels back to the mixer for stereo monitoring or effects. The interface can record at 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz sampling rates at 24-bit resolution. The interface features two switches on either side of the USB 2 connector which control the routing options.
For PCs, the card is compatible with 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. For Mac, the card is compatible with OS X 10.5 Leopard, 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, and 10.8 Mountain Lion.
