The white Star PAR Spotlight/Floodlight from Altman is a rugged, lightweight alternative to conventional PAR 64 luminaires. The highly polished specular reflector has been designed to operate most efficiently with the new generation of 575-watt tungsten halogen lamps. This model Star PAR is equipped with a G9.5 lamp base and is rated for 230V, utilizing a European specification power cable. The fully rotational lens holder easily accepts a variety of lenses, and allows for a vertical or horizontal oval beam, depending on the lens installed. The removable, two-slot accessory holder has a self-closing, self-locking retaining latch for safety. Ergonomic design and functional controls add to the appeal of this multi-function luminaire. A four lens kit, comprised of a very narrow spot, a narrow spot, a medium flood and a wide flood, comes with this unit, enabling a variety of different coverages from a given distance and adding to the light's great versatility.
