The ARC-5026 4-Bay Thunderbolt RAID Enclosure from Areca features both Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 connectivity making it easy to plug this storage solution into both Mac and Windows computers. The Thunderbolt connection offers a maximum data transfer rate of up to 10 Gb/s along with support for two way communications through one cable. The ARC-5026 comes equipped with two Thunderbolt ports allowing you to daisy-chain this enclosure with up to seven Thunderbolt compatible devices.
The four drive bays found in the ARC-5026 support both HDDs and SSDs and come equipped with a SATA 6 Gb/s interface. Once installed you can configure the drives to suit nearly any storage need with support for RAID 0, 1, 10(1E), 3, 5, 6, Single Disk and JBOD configurations. You will also find a brushless fan incorporated into the enclosure to keep everything cool.
