The UEM81C Condenser Instrument Microphone from Audix is designed for vocal and instrument capturing in live sound-reinforcement and recording applications. This small-diaphragm microphone features a cardioid polar pattern for maximum gain-before-feedback and a smooth, wide frequency response for both vocal and instrument capturing. A high SPL handling of 135 dB minimizes noise and distortion when capturing transient instruments such as drums, guitar, and percussion. The UEM81C offers a low-frequency roll-off switch for minimizing low-frequency noise, hum, and proximity effect. There is an included modular preamp supply with an on/off switch and bass roll-off filter, a modular cardioid capsule, a tension-fit clip, an external windscreen, a 20' XLR to XLR cable, and a vinyl carrying box.
