The panel is constructed from class A fire-rated foam wrapped in obsidian-colored fabric. It has beveled edges and a noise reduction coefficient of 0.80. The panel can be hung from the wall using the included impaling clips or from the ceiling using a variety of clips and anchors sold separately.
