User manual for the Bering Optics MAGNUM-860 Centurion 2nd Gen 6x83 Night CS46062
The user manual for the Bering Optics MAGNUM-860 Centurion 2nd Gen 6x83 Night CS46062 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Night & Thermal Vision - NV Monoculars & Multi-Systems.
With a lightweight and durable aluminum with glass fiber housing, the MAGNUM-860 Centurion 2nd Gen 6x83 Night Vision Sight from Bering Optics offers users a 2nd generation night vision experience, a large 83mm aperture, and a red Mil-Dot reticle. While the 165mm, f/2.0 optical system provides improved light gathering capacity, which translates into brighter images and longer range, the second generation night vision intensifier tube offers improved sensitivity and image detail and contrast. The electronics also offer the bright light cut-off function, which turns off your intensifier tube when it is exposed to a sudden flash of bright light. This helps to extend tube life, protects it from damage and burn-out, and to prevent a temporary loss of eye-sight due to flash blindness.
To compliment clear visibility of your targets with precise aiming and accurate target acquisition, this sight offers a red Mil-Dot reticle with adjustable brightness. To help you account for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop, there are windage and elevations adjustments with 1/2 MOA increments. The optical system also features multiple layers of anti-glare coatings to increase transmission of light and reduce glare, a wide 6.2° angular field of view, and a 33 yd minimum focus. To accommodate individual needs, there are a 50mm eye relief and a +4 to -4 dioptric adjustment.
The housing is made of aluminum and lightweight and durable glass fiber composite. It offers recoil resistance, water resistance, and protection against humidity as high as 98%. With a built-in mount, you can attach this night vision sight to any Weaver style rail.
The included objective lens cover is tethered to the housing to prevent loss. The wide compressible rubber eye cup covers the entire orbit of the eye to prevent leakage of green intensifier light and to help protect your eye from the recoil. Also included with this NVD, are a carrying bag and a lens tissue.
