The charcoal gray D8223-P Prox Pro Pin Reader for ReadykeyPRO System from Bosch provides Wiegand protocol interface capability in an easily mountable and weather‑resistant enclosure. The keypad interfaces with the ReadykeyPRO system by sending keypad data over the data output lines, or from a direct connection to the keypad interface. It is designed to fit a vertically-mounted, US standard, single‑gang switch box for easy installation. This reader is field‑adjustable through a selectable jumper setting and can be mounted directly onto metal surfaces with minimal effect on its read range performance. When a proximity card is presented to the reader, the red LED flashes green and the beeper sounds. Both the beeper and LED configurations can be controlled individually by the host system. An internal tamper switch sends an alarm condition if someone tries to disassemble the reader without authorization.
