Start hunting for historical relics using the Fast Tracker II Metal Detector from Bounty Hunter. A 6.6 kHz transmission frequency is well-suited for coin or relic hunting around parks or other public gathering areas. The ground balance can be used in the factory preset or manually adjusted to for prevailing conditions. Detection results are displayed on a dial indicated display and audible through either the built-in speaker or headphone output.
Four analog knobs form the control interface and allow you to easily adjust settings such as the sensitivity and discrimination. You can set the unit to an all metal mode that will indicate when any metal type is sensed or manually adjust the discrimination to better filter results toward a particular metal type. Two distinct tones provide a hint as to the kind of metal hidden beneath the Earth's surface. The unit is powered by two 9V batteries which are not included.
