Bring color accuracy and vibrancy back to your underwater images with Bower's Xtreme Action Series 6-Piece Filter Kit, which is designed for their Xtreme Action Series Protective Housing for GoPro Hero 3, 3+ and 4 cameras. Additionally, it is compatible with GoPro's own Dive Housing for the same cameras, as well as their standard housing for the GoPro 3. The set includes five scratch-resistant, press-on filters in magenta, yellow, red, pink, and gray colors, along with one neoprene case for easy storage and carrying.
Four of the filters provide color correction for various water depths and temperatures, restoring hues that get absorbed beneath the surface so they are not lost in your action videos. The magenta filter is used in green water at depths of about 80' or less, while the yellow, red, and pink ones are designed for use in tropical blue water. You'll find the yellow filter particularly effective at shallow depths of less than 33', whereas the red one is intended for shooting at 33-80'. The pink one provides more mild color correction, bringing back some of those rose/light reddish hues at the shallower depths of 33' or less. Use the gray filter for a light neutral density effect, in order to darken your images a little if you need to cut out some light in very sunny conditions.
