Its Maksutov-Cassegrain optical path produces a long focal length inside a short optical tube for high magnification potential without taking up a lot of room. It features magnesium fluoride (MgF2) anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics that, coupled with its corrector plate, virtually eliminates chromatic aberration for images with true color rendition across the entire field of view without halos.
