The Buffalo AirStation Extreme AC 1900 Gigabit Dual Band Wireless Router provides 802.11ac speeds on the 5 GHz band that can transfer data up to 1300 Mbps along the network. 1900 Mbps is the maximum wireless signal rate achieved when using the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands simultaneously from the three adjustable antennas. Additionally, the antennas utilize Beamforming technology that narrows the signal toward a supported Wi-Fi device to reduce the interference and provide a stronger, faster, and a more reliable connection. For wireless compatibility, the router also supports previous Wi-Fi standards that include 802.11a/g/n so you can use existing adapters and devices.
The Buffalo AirStation Extreme AC1900 features 4 BaseT Ethernet ports for LAN connections and one port for a WAN connection. In addition, with two USB ports you can share files from attached peripherals such as external hard drives and printers. To help manage all the features, the router comes built with a dual-core 1 GHz processor and supports QoS that prioritizes your media and entertainment traffic. This router even offers a wireless bridge mode to create a permanent high-speed wireless link with an optional second AirStation Extreme AC1900 for extending the range of your network.
