The CAME-7800H 3-Axis Camera Gimbal with Case and Stand from CAME-TV features a handheld stabilizer designed for mid-sized DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and compact camcorders weighing up to 6.6 lb. It utilizes three motors that stabilize the camera along the pan, tilt, and roll axes. This compensates for shakes, vibrations, and other unwanted movements, allowing you to capture smooth, free-floating shots. The stabilizer is relatively lightweight at only 4.85 lb and is designed for handheld operation using two adjustable handles. A top handle is also provided for getting low-angle shots or simply transporting the assembled stabilizer on set. The CAME-7800H is identical to the original CAME-7800 but features an updated balancing slider that enables tool-less adjustment for faster balancing. A gimbal balancing stand is included, as well as a custom carrying case designed to fit the CAME-7800 and the disassembled gimbal stand.
The system offers multiple operation modes for increased creative possibilities. You can choose to lock the camera in place along all three axes or have the camera smoothly follow your pan and tilt motions while keeping the horizon level. There is also a Commixture Mode, which locks the tilt axis while allowing the camera to follow left and right panning movements. Modes can be easily switched using a joystick, which can also be used to adjust camera pan and tilt position.
The system comes with a quick-release plate for mounting you camera. As with sled-style stabilizers, your camera needs to be balanced in order to get the best performance. Balancing is made easy thanks to the included balancing stand. Also included is a lithium-polymer battery capable of powering the unit for about 45 minutes, a battery charger, and a bracket for mounting an optional external monitor.
