Optimized for technical documents, the imagePROGRAF iPF780 36" Large-Format Inkjet Printer from Canon hopes to increase your productivity with fast draft printing, large ink tank sizes, a magenta ink for a wider color gamut, and software enhancements. This system utilizes a five-color reactive ink set with 4 vibrant dye color inks and a pigmented black ink for precise lines and sharp text, ideal for technical drawings.The iPF780 features a PF-04 print head with a max resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi and the ability to produce an Arch D-sized print in up to 25 seconds using Economy Mode. Additionally, it utilizes a sub-ink tank system that can use every bit of ink available in the large capacity cartridges and allows for tank replacement without needing to stop the printer.
Benefitting large print jobs and faster workflows is an Economy Print Mode that allows users to produce draft prints on select media by regulating the use of ink to produce quick check plots. Also, an integrated stacker/basket allows users to stack up to twenty Arch D prints or configure the printer with a regular basket for longer jobs. Software sees some improvements as well with an optimized module for AutoCAD, a plug-in for Microsoft Office, and more. Included with the iPF780 is PosterArtist Lite software for design and layout of larger documents. Additionally, this unit features both USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity.
