The user manual for the Canon VB-M42 1.3 MP Day/Night PoE PTZ Network Camera 9906B002 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Wired IP Cameras.

The VB-M42 1.3 MP Day/Night PoE PTZ Network Camera from Canon features a 1/3" CMOS sensor and a 4.7 to 94mm varifocal lens. With a native 1.3 MP resolution (1280 x 960) and a 20x optical zoom lens, which has a pan/tilt mechanism, you can capture images of targets even when they are in motion. These captured images are sent to the DIGIC DV III image processor for further processing and storing. In addition to this, VB-M42 comes with a DIGIC Net II processor that allows simultaneous streaming of M-JPEG and H.264 codecs in multiple resolutions (720p and 4:3 category video sizes) to meet various end-user needs. Since the camera is ONVIF 2.4/Profile S conformant, it provides maximum interoperability with other third-party ONVIF Profile S recording systems.
