The LandScout 10-30x50mm Spotting Scope Kit from Celestron includes a scope, a tripod, a soft carrying case, and a backpack. The angled viewing spotting scope features 10x to 30x zoom magnification, a 50mm diameter objective which can gather light needed for viewing in low-light conditions like dusk or dawn, and a 3.2-1.7° angular field of view range. The minimum focus distance is 33' and the exit pupil range is 5-1.7mm.
Beyond optical highlights, this spotting scope has a set of useful construction features. The angled eyepiece configuration allows you to easily align your eyes to the eyepiece and have a comfortable head and neck position during viewing. The fixed sunshade extending from the tube reduces amount of ambient light entering the objective. Located in the middle of the tube is a rotating collar for turning the spotting scope and adjust the direction of the eyepiece. It also provides an easy connection to a tripod.
