The Palau Experience: Volume 2 DVD Video / Photo Boxset from Cimware is an 8-DVD video and photo boxset related to the Republic of Palau. Sections include: Diving Coral Gardens, Blue Corner, Blue Hole, Ulong & German Channel, Ulong Island Kayaking & Snorkeling, Palau Island Tours, an Interactive Map with 360 Panoramas in the Republic of Palau, and Micronesia. Enjoy a browser-readable interactive island map with photos, videos and 360 degree panoramas, plus mobile device videos for iPad, iPhone, and more.
Engaging for all ages, and for anyone who loves eco-travel, SCUBA diving, and / or the beautiful diversity of tropical land and ocean environments, this set highlights both the exciting and relaxing sides of Palau, located in Micronesia in the Pacific. On land or at sea, the fantastic sights and sounds of this tropical gem are sure to captivate and entertain eco-travelers, divers, ecologists, environmentalists, professionals and students alike.
On videos, in photos, and in exciting 360-degree interactive talking panoramas, see a sustainable green engineer's and SCUBA diver's view of gorgeous Palau. As you enjoy the sounds of nature accompanied by music, you'll see multiple world-famous dive sites, land tours, and interviews with locals in Palau.
The set consists of 6 videos on 6 DVD-ROM's: Palau Dives P1 & P2 (43 and 34 min), Palau Kayaking Tours P1 & P2 (56 and 53 min), Palau Island Tour P1 & P2 (48 and 63 min). All play times are approximate. Each video was captured in full HD digital NTSC format, then rendered in standard definition (SD) DVD. Four videos are also included in the mobile device (e.g. iPad, iPod) playable MPG4 (.m4v) QuickTime format, for your convenience.
Also included in this set are the 360 Degree Interactive Panoramas, consisting of interactive PanoCube Games in addition to the images and videos of Palau. There is 1 DVD featuring high-resolution artistic and documentary-style images in Photoshop JPG format: Palau Diving (180 images), Palau Island Tour (215 images), Palau Royal Resort (PRR) Garden (99 images) and 4 mobile media videos. Each image is viewable as a computer slide show, or with a slew of TV's and DVD players and mobile devices like the iPad and iPod (slideshow software not included). A high-resolution screen will enhance your experience, but is not required.
The Palau Experience: Volume 2 is written, directed, edited and produced by Paul G. Ranky, PhD, PADI Certified Rescue Diver and Professional Engineer, as well as IEEE Green Engineering Editor.
