User manual for the Cinetics Axis360 Pro Motorized Motion Control System and APR
The user manual for the Cinetics Axis360 Pro Motorized Motion Control System and APR provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Camera Sliders.
The Axis360 Pro Motorized Motion Control System and Slider from Cinetics lets you create dynamic video and timelapse photography sequences with fluid and precise motorized slides, pans, and tilts. The versatile system is compact, lightweight, and easy to set up. It centers around the powerful Axis360 digital stepper motor, which proves smooth or incremental movements, and works with most DLSR, mirrorless, and digital cinema cameras. The Axis360 motor is run by the Controller unit, which uses CineMoco software to control movement and synchronized timelapse photos. The Controller works with most video cameras and can sync moves and timelapse photos on most Canon and Nikon DLSR cameras using optional cables. It can move any camera weighing less than 11 pounds. A built-in rechargeable battery provides six hours of continuous operation on a single charge or up to 24 hours in power save mode. In video mode, the Controller unit provides speeds up to 110° per second. For timelapse photography, it enables incremental movements as small as 0.03°. A 32" aluminum slider provides a platform for side-to-side and forward/backward movements. The sliding platform rolls on eight urethane coated bearing and has adjustable drag. You can move it by hand or with a belt and pulley system driven by the Axis360 motor and Controller. For motorized tilts, a mini tripod is included along with two L brackets - one for mounting your camera to the motor/controller and one for mounting the entire setup to the mini tripod. Also included with as part of the Axis360 system is a ballhead, an Arca-type quick-release plate for balancing larger cameras or cameras with long lenses, and two quick-release clamps for holding an L-bracket or Arca-type plate. The components of the Axis360 Pro system are stored in included travel bags. Two large bags are provided for the balance kit, tripod, rail cart, and outrigger legs. It also comes with a longer rail bag for the rails and rail brace, and one smaller bag for the controller, Axis360, and the cables.
