The Cokin NUANCES Limited Edition Z-Pro Series Neutral Density 3.0 Filter Kit includes an ND filter with a 1,024x filter factor that provides a 10 stop exposure reduction. Also provided is a filter holder as well as adapter rings that together, allow the filter to be used with lenses that feature 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, or 82mm filter threads.
The 3.0 density of the included 4 x 4" NUANCES Z-Pro Series Neutral Density Filter from Cokin creates a 10 stop darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
This filter is constructed from tempered Schott B270 glass for durability, clarity, as well as color fidelity, and features nano-metallic alloy film coatings on both sides of the filter surface that help promote nearly flat attenuation of infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater sensitivity to infrared light, compared to traditional film, color casts can occur when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times. Also included is a removable mask that works with the 4 x 4" NUANCES Z-Pro Series Neutral Density 3.0 Filter and a compatible Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder to help form a seal that is intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between the filter and the lens behind it.
The Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder is designed to accommodate multiple Cokin Z-Pro Series Filters in order to help create the shot you envision. It is designed to hold two 100mm-wide and 2mm-thick rectangular filters, plus one filter up to 100mm-wide and 1.6mm-thick, such as a rotating circular polarizer, for the Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holders.
A Cokin Z-Pro Filter Holder Adapter Ring can be used to connect this filter holder to the front of a lens.
The Cokin 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm Z-Pro Series Filter Holder Adapter Rings are designed to enable the use of a Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder on lenses with 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm front filter threads respectively. They are each constructed using lightweight, aluminum-alloy.
