The Gefen CSW-DVI440A 4 x 4 DVI Matrix Switcher with Stereo Audio can route DVI signals and stereo audio with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1200 or 1080p. It supports crosspoint switching as well as audio following or breakaway switching. The matrix switcher supports EDID and DDC data using DVI and HDMI standards, so EDID and DDC signals are actively buffered. The built-in EDID/DDC database can analyze these 2 signals, mix them, and realize their handshake internally. The matrix switcher is also compliant with HDCP1.3 using DVI and HDMI 1.3 standard. The built-in HDCP management technology can analyze an HDCP key and realize the DVI/HDMI and HDCP handshake internally.
