Subject: New Purchase | Date: 29.07.2017 05:32:46 | Author: HDM | I just purchased a DCM-301 Cable Modem. Installed and connected to internet. However, DS light is off. It comes on green full during booting up but then goes dark. Other 5 lites stay on. Is this a faulty unit? Your manual says all 6 lites should be on solid green...I'm wondering if it is just the manual that is wrong, because the DS lite is to show single-channel connection, whereas the W/DS lite next to it shows multi-channel connection. So, is the correct status only 5 lites will be on when multi-channel applies; my ISP is Xfinity/Comcast and my service plan is for multi-channel. | Reply |
