The user manual for the Da-Lite Dual Motor Low Voltage Control System 78145 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product A/V Presentation - Projection Screens - Other Accessories.

For Da-Lite Electrol Projection Screens:
  • To operate Da-Lite Dual Masking Electrol series projection screens, or any electrol series screen and a Da-Lift video projector lift from one or more locations, a control system is required. The Da-Lite Dual Motor Controller System was designed specifically for that purpose. It features ease of installation and operates at the touch of a button from a switch or transmitter. With the Da-Lite Dual Motor Controller System, the screen can be controlled in four different ways:
  • Low Voltage Switch Control
  • Radio Frequency Remote Control
  • Infrared Remote Control
  • Auxiliary Control

The Dual Motor Controller System consists of a printed circuit board with the microcomputer, relays and a transformer. The control components are housed in a metal electrical box. It is possible to control the screen from any number of 3-button switches, or computer controls. An infrared remote and a radio frequency remote can be added as control options. The low voltage 3-button switch utilizes 12 volts DC to operate the standards. The overall housing size is: 4 1/4" x 6" x 8 1/4".

The Switch Control, complete with a painted cover plate, may be flush mounted on any wall in a standard single gang electrical box. The 3-button Switch Control allows you to move the screen, screen mask or video projector lift up or down and stop at any position when you momentarily press either the UP, DOWN or STOP buttons as instructed.

    Options

  • The Radio Frequency Remote Control, Da-Lite part number 82435, consists of the Dual Motor Low Voltage Control System, a 3/4 channel radio transmitter and radio receiver. Three buttons on the transmitter allow you to move the screen up or down and to stop it at any position. Typical range is 75' Radio receiver plugs right into the DMC unit.

The Infrared Remote Control Da-Lite part number 82436, consists of the Dual Motor Low Voltage Control System, a 3-button infrared transmitter and an infrared sensor. Three buttons on the transmitter allow you to move the screen up or down and to stop it at any position. Typical range is 50' Infrared sensor plugs right into the DMC unit. Auxiliary Control The screen can be controlled by a relay closure system. For example, the wires coming from the relays are connected to the switch interface terminal on the DMC board. The Auxiliary Control works only with the dry contact closures.

Controls all Da-Lite Dual Masking Screens or Da-Lift and single motor screen combination.
Three-button system with separate up, down or stop commands.
Can be used alone with three-button wall switch.
