Capture and record video day and night with Defender's 8-Channel 500GB DVR with 4 x 600 TVL Cameras, a comprehensive surveillance system that consists of a pentaplex operating DVR and four weather-resistant bullet cameras with night vision range of 100'. This DVR can support up to 8 cameras and even has an RS-485 serial port to control the functions of a PTZ camera. Furthermore, the DVR has a BNC video output that allows users to live view and play back video on a larger screen by connecting to a TV or monitor. Beyond this, this DVR offers multiple recording resolutions and frame rates to accommodate your particular surveillance application. Also, it supports both NTSC and PAL signal system formats, dynamic or static network LAN IPs, and the Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems. Moreover, the DVR has automatic overwrite options to ensure that critical events are being recorded in the event that the hard disk drive is full, as well as "disk full" warnings.
This surveillance system also includes four bullet cameras with 6mm fixed lenses that capture video within a 60° field of view in the 600 TVL video resolution. Furthermore, the cameras come equipped with night vision and can capture images up to 100' (30.5 m) in darkness.
