Designed for ceiling or rail mounting, the DeSisti 2K Leonardo Piccolo Pole Operated Fresnel is a 6" tungsten-halogen fixture that's perfect for location shooting. The Leonardo Piccolo weighs in at just 18.7 lb versus the standard Leonardo's 29 lb and it's about 20% smaller than the studio version as well. When rigged overhead, focus, pan and tilt are controlled from below via an appropriate pole. With a beam spread from 10 - 49°, this is the perfect light for key or backlighting as well as sun or sharp shadow effects. Flooded out it's great for punching through a silk. Although lighter than the studio line, you can expect similar rugged construction and silky performance evident throughout the DeSisti brand. The 2K Leonardo Piccolo accepts 1,000W and 2,000W G38-based lamps. A full line of accessories is available, including barndoors, snoots, gel holders and scrims. Lamps and accessories must be purchased separately.
