User manual for the Dynaudio Acoustics BM12 MKIII Studio Monitor BM12MKIII
The user manual for the Dynaudio Acoustics BM12 MKIII Studio Monitor BM12MKIII provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Recording - Studio Monitors.
The BM12 MKIII Studio Monitor from Dynaudio builds upon the company's reputation for world-class professional monitoring solutions for recording, mixing, and mastering. The unit uses a 100 W powered extended excursion low frequency 8" woofer with a pure aluminum voice coil and a bass reflex port crossed over to a 50 W powered high frequency 1.1" soft dome tweeter with a pure aluminum voice coil and proprietary waveguide. This combination delivers a frequency response of 38 to 21,000 Hz with a peak SPL output of 123 dB.
The rear panel of the monitor features a set of high frequency, mid frequency, and low frequency analog room filters that allow for more flexible positioning within different acoustic environments such as a home or professionally treated studio. A rear panel 60/80 Hz high pass filter switch allows for integration of a dedicated subwoofer. Input to the unit is provided by a rear panel balanced XLR-3F connector and a -10/+4 dB input sensitivity switch accommodates different signal levels.
The monitor comes with an IsoAcoustics monitor stand that isolates the monitor from transferring vibrations to the surface of your desk to reduce bass smearing and improve overall clarity. The Stand also allows for the height and tilt angle of the monitor to be adjusted with 14 available variations. A TC Electronic Level Pilot can be added to the system for controlling the volume of the monitor (sold separately). The monitor is manufactured in Denmark.
