Adjust focus, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and exposure compensation remotely and with minimized shake. Elvid's sleek and compact Lynx USB Controller, compatible with most of the Canon DSLR lineup, clamps anywhere on your rig and offers control via a single focus wheel and several setup buttons. It can also be used handheld by an assistant. It's powered by two AA batteries and connects to your camera via an included 5 ft USB cable, and longer cables are supported. There are also auto-focus, shutter release, and video record controls, and all of the controls work in Live View.
Up to four focus points are assignable to dedicated preset buttons, from near-stop to far-stop, and remain saved for the lens they are set for. Focus speed can be fine-tuned in three steps and nine sub-steps within each step, and the focus wheel can be set to function clockwise or counterclockwise. A magnification function allows for increased focus accuracy by allowing you to enlarge a subject, then adjust focus, and then set the subject back to normal size, with the focus retained.
The Lynx USB Controller works with the Canon T1i, T2i, T3, T3i, T4i, 60D, 70D, 7D, 5D Mk II and Mk III, and 1D Mk IV. It comes with single- and dual-rod rig mounts and features one USB port on top and one on the side so you can choose the one best for your setup. It also comes with a stylish and fully form-fitting retro leather case for safe transport.
