The CineSnake PA212 2-Channel Audio Adapter Receiver with Female XLR Connectors from Energy Transformation Systems is a compact, lightweight device that allows running audio signals up to 1900' (without phantom power) using a CAT5 or better cable, when paired with the PA213 Transmitter. A single cable carries two audio channels, which simplifies installation. This passive receiver supports 48V phantom power (slide switch provided) and accepts mic level, line level, and analog or digital audio signal. Ordinary UTP cable can be used with this receiver, however, CAT5 or better cable improves the transmission distance, and a better microphone improves the audio quality.
