Operating on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency, this access point lets users connect to the less congested 5 GHz frequency for bandwidth intensive tasks. Integrated band steering will automatically move client connections back and forth between frequencies to free up bandwidth and provide a better network experience for all users. With an IP55-rated waterproof and dustproof housing the EWS650AP can be installed in a variety of locations to provide network access to users over long distances with 27 dBm transmit power on the 2.4 GHz frequency and 26 dBm transmit power on the 5 GHz frequency.
