The FERROFISH A16 MK-II - AD/DA Converter with ADAT and MADI is designed for professional digital audio recording applications. The 1RU unit features 16 balanced TRS I/O with 24-bit 192 kHz conversion and utilizes a 32-bit high performance ARM processor. It also features optical MADI I/O including MIDI over MADI, BNC Word Clock in and out, as well as 2x ADAT for an additional 16 channels of digital I/O. Multiple units can be cascaded together over MADI to further increase the overall I/O of the system.
The input and output gain of each channel can be individually adjusted and two TFT displays provide high resolution metering on all inputs and outputs. Presets can be managed using the built in user interface and the keys can be locked to prevent accidental or unauthorized adjustments to the unit's settings. Channel assignments can be controlled using the included graphical routing software. The unit features SNMP multiplexing (SMUX) network remote control via MIDI or MIDI over MADI.
