Subject: firefeild FF26013WL | Date: 07.09.2017 05:51:16 | Author: AlSperry | I have not recived a replie from last text. But I been trying to figure out eather why I can not get this unit to stay where I put it.So reading what I could find it come back to the mount.First Iam thinking no way I used a wrench to tighten it very softly untill snug.Useally all the scopes that I have used eather allen wrench thumb or screw driver. So I removed unit put the low light scope back on,ok back to hitting where aiming at.Ok,now put the firefeild back on,Checking and double checking slowly and evenly tighten scope bracket. Shot and center but far right about 10inches.Now I am going ok no problem. Made adjustments back to zero. Now this at the 50meter.Three nights ago when first sighting in, I got back to 75meters.The next night thats when I lost confinace in scope, did not stay where I left it.Any who tonight after getting it on again after the remount, moved back to 60meters. Its a hit 6rounds now I got my self all excited. Moved back to 75meters off a little shot a off a little more, now looseing confanice again.Back up to 50meter way off,I am thinking youve got to be kidding. After calming my self down, and thought for a min.shot my hand gun to regain my composure and confanaice. Looking things over. The mount moved when I applied pressure to it.Now Iam shooting a Anderson 223 flat mount. Now, I checked the mount that came with the scope they are the same.So I started thghting a little at a time. Now I am just trying to get the scope to not move after shooting. Now I am in shoot check tighten mode, shoot check tighten.Shoot a few times loose tighten.Did this now after many rounds and 5hours of shooting. After the last tightening elsnapo. I am going now what, It seems the yotes running around my home and the hunting areas are just loving all my issues. Any who, I belive now the electronics for the redical are more than likely fine and perfect. I thought I was having a issue with the brightnes going dim after shooting, do not really sure yet. Could be the operator bumping it after shooting. I was ready to sent the unit back, after finding it is just a mounting issue. This is no big deal compaired to adiffrent nightvison scope that I did send back that was junk out of the box. This why I waited untill I did more reading up on this kind of scope. This scope even thow right now I have a litte issue. I belive it will be perfact. Once I can get some nuts and bolts to hold this little bugger still | Reply |
Subject: fire field ff26013wl | Date: 05.09.2017 05:42:49 | Author: Al Sperry | couple of issues the unit will not stay sighted in.Tonight had it pretty close then it was way off.Had it sighted in last night but when I started tonight was not even close.First I thought it was the way I was holding the AR but that was not the issue.I got it close the it was no way near the bull. The other issues are the cap will not stay on very loose fit compared to other caps on other scopes I have. The eye piece is all wrinkled, thought it would come back to proper shape afther awhile but has not. The redical seems not to stay the same brightness willgo dim after shooting dose want to stay the way that it is adjusted. The coyotes around here are more than needed I need to thin em out.Can you please help,or do I need to send it back to fingerhut? | Reply |
