The URC-4000 Super Resolution UHD 4K Up-Converter from For.A uses spatiotemporal frame interpolation to up-convert HD video into UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) in real time. It detects spatial and temporal changes in images with high precision, on a pixel-by-pixel basis. Thus, aliasing from conversion are reduced, and the resolution of still image areas is restored. Resolution is further improved through multi-scale nonlinear enhancement. A separately available redundant power supply can be added, and the firmware can be updated remotely over the Internet.
