The FotodioX Pro 6.6 x 8.5" Graduated Two-Color Twilight Effect Filter is a filter designed for use with the WonderPana 66 and FreeArc filter holder systems. This filter can be applied to simulate the effect of twilight within an image that would otherwise feature a blue or colorless sky, or, it may be used to enhance existing colors while photographing during twilight while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image.
This filter achieves its effect with a band of color across its center region, which extends approximately 0.5" in either direction before tapering to clear at one side and dark at the other; with a hard-edged line of transition between the dark area and clear areas. The dark area extends approximately 4.0" with it becoming progressively dense until it meets the edge of the filter, and provides up to a 3-stop reduction in light from entering a lens.
The FotodioX Pro 6.6 x 8.5" Graduated Two-Color Twilight Effect Filter is made of durable, optical resin (CR39) and measures 4mm thick. A carrying pouch is also included with the filter.
