The Giottos 5.7" Short Center Column for All Giotto MT/MTL 82/92 Tripods is a replacement for the center column that comes with Giottos MT82, MT92, MTL82 and MTL92 tripods. The short column allows you to get those extreme low angle shots that are impossible to get with the Giottos classic center column installed. Swapping columns from classic to short and back again is a quick process that requires no tools. The short column features a 0.79" (20 mm) aluminum shaft with a 1.97" (50 mm) mounting platform and a reversible 1/4"-20, 3/8-16" mounting screw for attaching a still photo tripod head.
