The StompBox + GuitarConnect Cable from Griffin Technology is a hardware solution for the guitarist or electronic instrument player who wishes to physically control the virtual effects inside an audio app running on a 30-pin based iOS device. Four footswitches are user assignable and the board features a rear panel 1/4" TRS connector for plugging in an optional expression pedal for additional control.
Other connectivity is provided via the included GuitarConnect Cable. A 1/4" TS connector on one arm of the three-way cable allows for connecting an instrument, with a 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS stereo mini connector for headphones on another arm, and a 1/8" (3.5mm) TRRS plug on the third arm for connecting to the iOS device.
