The 230Si Quadcopter with HD Camera from Heli-Max is a 230-sized quadcopter that is designed to provide the maneuverability expected from larger 350-size aircraft but in an intermediate form factor that is a step-up from "palm-sized". It features a removable HD camera that records 720p video at 30 frames per second and takes JPEG still photos at 1280 x 720 resolution. The camera records to microSD/SDHC cards up to 32GB in capacity, and there is a 2GB card included. A USB card reader is also included so you can offload the record of your adventure onto your computer.

This version of the 230Si is ready-ready-to-fly (RTF), meaning a 2.4 GHz transmitter (hand-held radio transmitter) is included and comes pre-bound to the aircraft. It also come mostly assembled, requiring only the installation of the props, battery, and a few small parts before it is ready-to-fly. As with any multi-rotor, pre-flight calibration steps must still be undertaken to ensure proper operation of the flight control system before actually taking to the air.
