The HighPoint RocketStor 6361A Thunderbolt 2 PCIe Expansion Chassis allows you to add a PCIe card to your Thunderbolt compatible MacBook or Mac Pro. This expansion chassis is compatible with PCIe x4, x8, or x16 cards such as media capture, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, or storage/RAID controller cards. Highpoint has designed the RocketStor 6361A to house a full height PCIe card up to 7.87" long, in a lightweight and compact chassis. With quick release thumbscrews, installation of any Thunderbolt aware PCIe card inside the chassis is easy.
This expansion chassis transfers data to your Mac up to 20 Gb/s via Thunderbolt 2. Furthermore, it offers two Thunderbolt 2 ports that allows daisy-chaining for up to six Thunderbolt devices. For cooling the PCIe card, the chassis is equipped with two efficient and quiet fans. Moreover, it features a ventilated all-aluminum construction that provides additional cooling. To provide power to the card and fans, this chassis comes with an external 50W power supply. It also includes a Thunderbolt cable for connecting to your Mac.
