Thin at just 0.78", the OMEN Pro L9H60UT 15.6" Touchscreen Mobile Workstation from HP is a powerful and versatile system designed with portability in mind. It is powered by a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ Quad-Core processor which allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If you need more power, the system can be overclocked to 3.6 GHz and the 16GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently-used files and programs.
The 15.6" LED-backlit display features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and an anti-glare finish. This display also features touchscreen support, allowing users to control certain aspects of the system without the use of a keyboard or mouse. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro K1100M graphics card has 2GB of dedicated GDDR5 RAM and delivers a sharp, clear picture. You'll also be able to output video to an external display using the system's HDMI and Mini DisplayPort.
For long term storage of your files, a 512GB Z Turbo Drive PCIe SSD offers quick access to your data. While this SSD may not have the larger capacity of a traditional hard drive, it is able to operate with faster data transfer speeds because it contains no moving parts. Additionally, its lack of moving parts also helps it to be more resistant to damage from bumps and drops. SSDs also receive less wear and tear because the drive has no read and write heads that the disk media comes into contact with. Lastly, because this SSD connects using a PCIe connection, it operates even faster than an SSD that uses a SATA connection.
If you want to add external storage, optical drives, memory card readers, and more, the OMEN Pro offers 4 x USB 3.0 ports which also double as charging ports. 802.11ac Wi-Fi is also built-in for wireless networking and Bluetooth 4.0 technology will also allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. While this system does not have an integrated Ethernet port, it does include a USB to Ethernet adapter. So that content from memory cards may be accessed, a built-in multi-format SD media card reader lets users download content from their digital camera. Other integrated features include a TrueVision Full HD 1080p webcam, dual digital microphones, and stereo speakers.
The OMEN Pro includes a 120W AC Adapter and a 4-cell/58Wh Lithium-ion Battery. The installed operating system is Windows 7 Professional (64-bit).
