The magenta iPix A4 Underwater Housing for iPhone 4 or 4s from I-Torch is a waterproof enclosure enabling you to capture photos and video beneath the water's surface with your iPhone 44S. It has a depth rating of 130'. The housing provides access to the camera functions via mechanical push-button controls and the custom app available at the App Store. It features a built-in, flat glass lens port and baffle for optimal image clarity. The port has a standard M32 mount allowing for the attachment of external add-on lenses and filters with 32mm diameter threads.
Built for durability, the housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate. The iPhone is fully suspended within the housing to help ensure that its body and screen are effectively shielded from shock and pressure. Additionally, there is an integrated 1/4"-20 tripod mount for connection to an optional tray with lighting arms.
Since the flash is blocked by the housing and there is no external flash connector, there is no way to use flash with this housing. A constant light source such as an LED video light is required and available separately.
