It features 16 velocity sensitive drum pads that light up in 3 different colors depending on how hard they are hit or if MIDI data is received. Additional control is provided via 2 MIDI knobs, 1 slider, and a pushbutton rotary encoder, all of which are user programmable.
For further control, the iRig Pads has an expression/sustain pedal input for integrating an optional pedal. IK Multimedia includes a Lightning cable, a 30-pin cable, and a USB cable to provide a variety of connectivity options.
