necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Cranes & Jibs.
ikan's Carbon Fiber Mini-Jib weighs only seven pounds yet supports a payload of up to thirteen pounds. It is a 2 section jib, that can be extended to just over four feet from the fulcrum point. The jib mounts to tripods with a 75mm bowl fitting, or you can remove the jibs 75mm half ball and mount the jib on a 3/8"-16 mounting system, allowing you to use this on flat plate tripods or other surfaces.
You can mount your camera directly to the camera platform of the jib, or use the included 75 mm bowl adapter to mount a ball head onto the jib arm. The two integrated bubble levels allow you to precisely control and adjust the level of the Jib Arm. The jib includes a threaded counterweight bolt that you thread into the back of the jibs extendable counterweight tail arm. This bolt allows you to mount the included gym style weight as well as optional weights and then extend the tail to counterbalance your camera.An included weight bag, allows you to quickly add more weight to your rig, without having to unscrew the weight safety, add weight, and then secure the weights again. The jib and its included accessories fit in the included carry sack for easy storage and transport.
