The user manual for the ikan VH7i-C 7" HDMI LCD Field Monitor Deluxe Kit VH7I-DK-C provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Monitors - On Camera Monitors.

The ikan VH7i-C 7" HDMI LCD Field Monitor Deluxe Kit with Canon 900 Series Type Battery Plate includes a VH7i monitor, plus charger, a Canon 900 Series type battery plate, Canon 950G type battery. The monitor features a 7" HD IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 400 nit brightness with a 800:1 contrast ratio for a crisp image. The monitor auto detects and displays NTSC/PAL/SECAM video signals as well as HD signals. The IPS screen provides a 178° viewing angle. It comes equipped with an HDMI input and a loop-through HDMI output. Built-in, advanced display functions include Peaking, False Color, and ikan's Clip Guides, each one a valuable tool that the camera operator can use to check focus and exposure while shooting.

The VH7i features a push-select menu wheel and two assignable function buttons. It scales the input video to fit its screen and includes a 1:1 pixel mode for checking fine details of your image. The monitor's flexible power options allow you to choose from powering via a coax power connector or available ikan DV style battery plates. This VH7i monitor comes with a Canon 900 Series type battery plate that is removable and can be swapped out with other available battery plates if your battery situation changes. The monitor features four 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes: one on each side and on the top and the bottom of the unit. An included hood clip allows you to connect an optional sun hood to the monitor, and you can use the included ball head adapter to provide articulation to your setup. The kit includes a hard sided carry case to protect your monitor and accessories during transport and storage.
