The housing's ergonomic mechanical controls, including knurled knobs, a lever, dials, and push-buttons, provide access to all camera functions except for the flash switch and the viewfinder switch.
Improving on their RX100 III enclosure, Ikelite gave this housing a front-loading design, a better rear control dial, and a bright red push-button for video. It will accept the Mark III camera, allowing access to all controls except for the rear control dial, though it is really designed for the IV. Built for durability, the housing is designed, constructed, and tested in the USA. It's manufactured from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the o-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camera. The integrated flat glass lens port has a 3.0" diameter, and accepts optional, external wide-angle and macro add-on lenses. Expand your system by adding an optional AF35 AutoFlash strobe, which is triggered as a wireless slave by the firing of the camera's built-in flash and replicates TTL exposure. The housing is also equipped with two ports for Ikelite, Sea & Sea, or Olympus-type fiber-optic cables.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 IV Digital Camera is a versatile point-and-shoot with a large 20.1MP, 1", Exmor RS BSI CMOS sensor for high-resolution stills, 16-fps burst shooting, and 4K video with Super Slow Motion frame rates up to 960 fps. A native ISO of 12,800 allows for clear images in dimly lit conditions. Additionally, the BIONZ X processor helps produce images with smooth quality and tonal gradations. Enhanced electronic shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 sec minimize distortion caused by the rolling shutter effect, while the built-in, three-stop ND filter allows shooting in very bright light with the aperture wide open at f/1.8. The built-in Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 2.9x zoom lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24-70mm, covering wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives. The RX100 IV is also equipped with a 2,359k-dot, SVGA OLED Tru-Finder and a 3.0", 1229k-dot Xtra Fine LCD screen. Built-in Wi-Fi with NFC allows instant image transfer to linked mobile devices, as well as remote camera control from these devices.
