This Underwater Housing from Ikelite is a waterproof case enabling you to shoot beneath the surface with your Canon VIXIA HF G30, XA20 or XA25 HD camcorder. It has a depth rating of 200'. Mechanical controls provide access to essential camcorder functions, including power on/off, mode switch, zoom, record start/stop, joystick toggle up/down, set, manual white balance, custom button 3, and custom button 4.
Built for durability, the housing is constructed by hand in the USA from corrosion-resistant polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the o-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camcorder. The included glass port accommodates the camera's lens, and also accepts optional 67mm macro add-on lenses for close-up shooting. Additionally, a removable UR/Pro color-correction filter for tropical blue water is supplied.
The Super-Eye glass optical viewfinder magnifies what you see through the camera's optical viewfinder. For better handling, a tray with dual ergonomic grip handles is included, as are two 3/8"-16 handle-mounting studs with wingnuts for the attachment of optional arms for video lights.
