User manual for the Interlogix S732DV Video / Data Transmitter & S732DVPKG

The user manual for the Interlogix S732DV Video / Data Transmitter & S732DVPKG provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Video Transmission - Signal Extenders.

The General Electric S732DV Video / Data Transmitter & Receiver Package (Standalone) features a standalone multimode transmitter, a standalone multimode receiver and 2 power supplies. The transmitter is designed to support transmission of 1-way video and 2-way multiprotocol data, over one or two optical fibers.

Support for major video formats allows the system to be retained even if there is a change of video control systems. The data translation function allows conversion of data from one format to another. Data formats can be set during installation and then be changed easily in the field via rotary switch.

Featuring 6.5 MHz video bandwidth and video SNR greater than 55 dB, the transmitter sends clear, high-quality images at resolutions of up to 520 TVL over an operating distance up to 4 miles (6.5 km). Optical Automatic Gain Control (OAGC) helps compensate for loss in signal strength.

Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer (CWDM) technology provides enhanced transmission capability over long distances. SMARTS diagnostic technology features a video test pattern generator that allows failures to be identified from the monitor. In addition, the transceiver features LEDs that give a visual indication of the system status. Featuring a polycarbonate construction, the transmitter comes in a standalone configuration and offers solid-state short circuit protection. The S732DV comes with 2 power supplies, each supporting 100-240 VAC input power and operating at 18 W.
