The Sport HD EDGE Waterproof Action Full HD Camera from Intova features a "unibody" design that seals the camera electronics directly inside an underwater housing which is rated down to 200'. Featuring a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor, the Sport HD EDGE can capture Full HD video at up to 1080p and 30 frames per second and shoot up to 14MP JPEG still photos. It also features a slow motion mode that captures SD 480p video at 120 frames per second. To make web-friendly copies of your video right away, the Dual Stream Mode allows a low-res copy to be recorded alongside the high quality "master". Built-in Wi-Fi allows the camera to be controlled from a mobile device, and footage can even be off-loaded wirelessly for immediate sharing.
In photo and video modes that take advantage of the whole sensor, the Sport HD EDGE's ultra wide angle 3.5mm lens provides a 160° field-of-view to help ensure none of the action will be cut out of the frame. The aperture is fixed at f/2.8 to help provide the sensor with as much light as it can get to work with for low-light situations. The lens is fixed with no zoom, but to get a closer shot without cropping in post, you can enable either 10x or 60x digital zoom depending on your preference.
A 1/4"-20 socket means you can mount the Sport HD EDGE on just about any tripod, monopod, suction cup, or other standard camera support accessory. The camera records internally to microSD/SDHC memory cards, and supports sizes up to 32GB.
