JAG35's Crimson Shoulder Rig for Epic and Scarlet is designed to perfectly support RED's Epic and Scarlet. The baseplate, which is balanced on the centerline of the rig, is connected to the rods in front of it by a bracket that correctly aligns the rods for follow focus and mattebox support. All the rods that run throughout are 15mm and threaded for further extensions. The handles are knurled. The handlebar they're attached to sticks out to one side more than the other, and a monitor or EVF can neatly be mounted to the part sticking out. A 4 lb counterweight brings the rig to a total weight of approximately 10 lbs. The counterweight and a shoulder pad are both rod-mounted.
