The IP STREAMER Kit from KanexPro is an HDMI Over IP extender set comprised of a transmitter and receiver with PoE support to extend digital video and audio signals up to 656' over Cat5e/6 cable using 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet. It features real-time AV coding (transmitter) and decoding (receiver) to broadcast up to 1080p HDMI and DVI signals and doesn't require a managed network to operate. The HDCP-compliant transmitter unit connects to an HDMI source, and the receiver unit connects to an HDMI display. They can be used standalone to perform a point-to-point connection or connected to an optional network switch to send the source signal to up to 250 receiver units for multi-display digital signage and commercial AV installations.
Note: The kit does not come with an AC adapter, as it is designed to be powered from an Ethernet switch supporting PoE. For use without an Ethernet switch, a separately-available external power supply (EXT-PSU1) is required.
