Stored inside the anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle is a 4" 600-grit, diamond-coated oval shaft. When the shaft is removed from the handle and screwed in-place the sharpener is a very useable 9" long. With a stored length of just 5" and weighing a mere 2.1oz, the Ultra-Tek is easy to keep in most packs or pockets for easy use whenever you need it.
