necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Tripods & Support - Quick Release Systems.
The Kirk SQRC-ARCA Quick Release Clamp is an Arca-Swiss compatible clamp, that replaces existing clamps on photo style ball and monopod heads that mount using a single M6 hex bolt. The SQRC is a Quick Release (QR) clamp that features a full sized locking knob, which provides a sure grip, and the captive design of the knob prevents it from falling out of the clamp during normal use. The built-in bubble level provides a visual indication of a level platform.
The SQRC requires only one full turn on the locking knob to release a camera with mounted QR plate from the top, while one-quarter turn allows side-to-side adjustment or side removal of camera. When mounting a camera with attached Kirk QR plate with safety stops, one-quarter turn of the locking knob still allows side-to-side adjustments, but the stops on the Kirk QR plate prevent the camera from sliding out of the side of the clamp. The SQRC is made from an anodized aircraft aluminum alloy that makes it lightweight, durable and wear resistant.
